Hand painted gold gilt elements show moderate to extensive wear, as may be seen in photos. Name is intact, but ornaments around the cup, particularly to the left of the central design, show extensive wear.

Stamped CFH on the underside, a mark of Haviland Limoges that dates from circa 1876.
This mug has a major chip and repair on the base rim that may be seen in photos. Porcelain shows some evidence of use in the basin of the cup, with stains from shaving products. Polychrome hand painted elements are in great condition. Central image transfer is in fair condition, though the lady looks a little faded.
