Excellent condition ironstone shaving mug
No stains anywhere
This mug was produced 1875-1880 by Issac Davis
This was produced prior to the introduction of  Prospect Hill Pottery
This makers mark is early while Issac Davis was in business for himself.
This mug has a blue band with gold accents. The blue is more periwinkle then navy.
The gold is very shiny and bright
The approximate measurements are
3 1/2 " Tall
3.75"W
This mug is void of
Chips
Cracks
Darkness under the glaze
Hairlines
Repairs
I do see production errors on this mug where the slip skipped and you can see the white ironstone underneath
I do see spots of lighter blue on the mug
There is a bit of crazing & gold loss on the mug
