Description
Fritz Karch(1920-?). A German Air Ace from World War II, he is credited with 47 victories. A flying ace or fighter ace is a military aviator credited with shooting down five or more enemy aircraft during aerial combat. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross. His signature on a postal cover commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel and postmarked Oct 14 1994.
