ORIGINAL WWII GERMAN WEHRPASS SLIP COVER

Description

ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN WEHRPASS SLIP COVER.  These slip covers were issued to protect the wehrpass from wear & tear.  The slip cover is made of cardboard, folded over on the reverse & held together by two metal fasteners.  The front is marked "WEHRPASS" and the reverse is marked by the manufacturer.  This is a salty used example showing some moisture staining.  The cover has a tear about half way down the right side edge - see photo.  Still remains in overall sound condition.  Would make a nice addition to your WWII Wehrpass collection!
