    Description

    An original automobile registration for the 1936 Opel model Personenwagen.  I could not find a model number but I think these were the type 170v Saloon often used by the elite of the military including the SS. See the last picture of the model for an idea of what this car looked like.  The dates start at the 1936 manufacturing year and end in 1955 with four total owners.  The main owner had it from new to right at the end of 1945 and the end of the war.  There are "elite" stamps on it during this period.  The license plate number during this period was I believe HAN 19159 and the name is very hard to read but may be Garbe? Wilhelm?.
