    You are bidding on another nice radio from my collection. It's time to let them go. I'm glad that so far they have all powered up fine and the tuners and volume work as they should. Model 1400-H.
    This particular model was produced mostly in black and this one is a rarer white one. The paint has a few tiny surface scratches but overall for an art deco radio from the 1940's, she is in fine shape. I love the roundness and the fins. Also this one has a deeper richer sound probably due to the size and the opening under the top which lets air out and also sound. The finish looks like an older fender mustang guitar i used to have. Both had the aged creamy white look. This one not only looks great but she works great also. It has the typical nut on the backside for attaching an antenna. Even a piece of double braided wire will capture stations galore. I was able to pick up 8 stations where i live rurally in Maine and i also live in a mountain valley. That's without any antenna! Ok, low starting bid, never any reserve, low shipping cost. When i decide to sell something my aim is to sell it. I will have a few more listed tomorrow. I put a buy it now option on this one as i hadn't done that on previous ones and was inundated with offers. Well, two so far lol. You know these radios are cool since modern companies make cheap copies of them. This baby is built like a tank which Stromberg-Carlson were known for. The Volvo of radios!
